People Who Inspire Me: Hannah Witton.

I wanted to start this series to give praise the people who have inspired me in life. These people have showed me how to be a better person. I want to introduce these people to your lives too, so every month I'm going to write about someone who inspires me. It seems right to start with Hannah Witton. Hannah is a Youtuber, blogger and author who specializes in sex education, book reviews and her experience with living with a stoma bag. I started watching Hannah in 2014, when she was a happily single gal who was hell bent on making sure the world was educated on safe and healthy sex and wanted to break the stigma around casual sex. I adored her humour and how passionate she is about everything she does. Since then I have watched her find love, write a best selling book, go through surgery that resulted in her losing her colon and work on important projects that impact women all over the world, with the charities Girls Out Loud and Brook. Her videos about sex education has opened the door for people to learn more about such a natural thing that is so badly taught in sex education class in school. Her writing inspired my own writing and has helped me adapt the script writing I'm used to doing to this blog style.

Hannah's strength has taught me that I can handle anything, her integrity has inspired me to stand up for what I believe in. Her mindset on relationships has helped me and my friends through our teens and our many attempts to accept ourselves. The way she navigates through the digital media world is how I want to handle myself and ultimately, her work means something and it's exactly what I want to do, do something that can change the world.
