February 2019 | Reflecting On My Month

February was the month that flew by, which when you're in your final year of college, is a terrifying thing. Work wise it means that you're getting closer and closer to deadlines, especially the incredibly daunting dissertation. The one that scares me more is that it means I'm getting closer to leaving. Leaving my friends and housemates and even just the blissful independence of living in another county. I want to take in as much as possible before I go, so I'm going to document everything. Through pictures and a swift round up of my month here.
Lets start with RAG week. After winning a wristband which guaranteed free entry to every night (in what can only be described as the most hilarious yet ridiculously tense pub quiz of all time) I was able to spend the week either lounging around or hard on it with some of my favourite people, for what could be one of the last times but trying hard to forget that fact.

Another thing that happened, which seems so insignificant to most was the day of stunning weather we got the week after. Like I said, I'm running out of time here so there was something so magical about sitting out in the courtyard of the college with my friends eating 99s. It was so nice to just relax, laugh and not think about college for just a couple of hours. These guys are so important to me, they can make my stomach ache from laughing while actual tears stream down my face or we can sit up all night and talk about the darkest parts of ourselves. They are apologetically themselves, proven by their rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody for the whole college to hear. Without these weirdos college would have been a very different experience for me. A day like this where dissertations and exams didn't matter was exactly what we all needed. These monthly run downs will probably be mostly me gushing about my friends and the experiences we have together but I don't care because they deserved to be gushed about! Till next time.
